What is the duration of the hackathon?
BeachHack 7 is an intense 36-hour hackathon designed to test your endurance, creativity, and coding skills. The event runs continuously, providing ample time to build, iterate, and polish your innovative solutions.
What is the team size?
Each team must consist of exactly 4 members. We believe this size is optimal for collaboration, task distribution, and effective project execution within the time constraints.
When will the problem statements be announced?
The problem statements will be revealed at the commencement of the hackathon. You will be required to design and develop your solution entirely from scratch within the 36-hour window.
What benefits do participants get?
Participants will enjoy full hospitality including food and beverages for the entire duration. Every participant receives exclusive BeachHack merchandise (t-shirts, stickers), a certificate, and networking opportunities.
How are teams shortlisted?
Teams will be shortlisted based on a preliminary screening where your team profiles and potential will be evaluated. We are looking for diversity in skills and a strong passion for technology.
What should I bring to the hackathon?
Bring your own laptops, chargers, and any hardware required. We provide high-speed internet and power. Food and beverages are on us!
Will there be any mentoring sessions?
Yes! We have industry experts present as mentors to guide you, help unblock technical challenges, and provide valuable feedback on your ideas throughout the event.
Can I participate if I am a beginner?
Absolutely! BeachHack 7 welcomes participants from novices to experts. It is a learning ground where your passion for learning matters most.
Can we use prebuilt solutions or projects?
No, prebuilt solutions are strictly prohibited. All code must be created from scratch during the hackathon. Violations will lead to immediate disqualification.
